 About me 

Hello my name is tomo. I am the creator of Mafia Afterlife. I started this project around 2016. At first it started with the main character Tomo and soon developed into something more.I was always playing around with the thought of tomo, what his personalities are, and doing lots of character building and it led into creating rest of the gang. I soon landed on the idea of 'Hey, let's make them a fun going mafia group.'I was playing around with many ideas, but my friend Ren added more of a darker twist to the lore and world building, more than what I could imagine. Around 2019 I had the idea of bringing these character to life in a comic to tell their story. I started and made 2-3 different starting points as comics, but they didn't stick long.In 2023 I asked Ren and Joey to help me out with this comic, as they were there for me from the beginning of this story. We all sat down and started brainstorming ideas, and the pasing we wanted for the story. At this point we already planned for the seires to have 3-4 volumes. I got to work and started the comic, and finished chapter 1 by the end of the year.Now in 2024 the passion is here to stay for the long hall. I have my friends helping me with this comic and I am very grateful for them, I would not have made it this far without them!My goals are simple: Create Mafia Afterlife, and make a indie animation of this series as well! I look forward to sharing this Mafia world with you!

 character history 

Long ago brothers ren and tomo was enjoying their lives to the fullest. They had each other and no one can come between them. One day Tomo found something and wanted to show his brother. He overheard mother and father talk about selling both of them in the markets.A few hours later tomo was laying in the corridor, holding the dagger that he was stabbed with. Ren looks for his brother as they was supposed to meet up hours ago. Ren seeing his brother's lifeless body was enraged. Due to Ren snapping and losing his brother, he wanted more than revenge.Tomo was in the heavens, but it wasn't a long stay. Tomo got angry at a angel for picking on him and talking disrespectfully about his brother, and he tore out the angels wings. Tomo caused a taboo and he was cast out.When tomo woke up in his old body, the wounds was healed, but rigor mortis made it hard to move at first. After a few days he was able to move again. All the flowers around him, decayed. Tomo was slowly getting his demon powers.A few years later he was out in the fields watching the clouds, the angel had recovered enough, and wanted revenge. He started fighting tomo, at first glace tomo was winning, but the angel places a curse on tomo, causing his decay powers to turn on him. Tomo feeling his insides slowly turn into mush and him bleeding out, the Angel wanted more. He cast another curse, to keep tomo alive and constantly be in pain and suffer.Now we jump years ahead, tomo lives in the abyss world his brother made for him, just to keep tomo safe and protected. He now lives with Bel, and now does art as a hobby since he has lots of time on his hands.
